Ward
Truckload Express Over the Road (OTR) drivers pick up
and deliver truckloads using new 48' and 53' vans. The
length of haul for an OTR driver can range from 50 -
1,000 miles per load, with the average being about 410
miles per load. Drivers will service customers in the states
of PA, NJ, NY, DE, MD, ME, CT,
MA, RI, VA, KY, OH, IN, MI, IL, MI, NC, & SC.
At
times, OTR drivers will also switch loads with other
drivers, spot trailers, stop-off en route, and unload
with pallet jack or by hand. OTR drivers can expect
to be home on weekends for an average of 48 hours and
possibly have home time during the week, depending on
freight movement.
