Owner Operator

Minimum Owner Operator Qualifications:

Experience:
	Minimum of at least 2 years verifiable OTR or Regional experience within the past three years. No more than four moving violations on their MVR within the past 3 years. No DUI’s or DWI’s within the past three years in a personal vehicle none ever in a commercial vehicle. No more than 2 preventable accidents within the past three years. No roll-overs within the past 2 years.
Equipment:
	Although we have no age limitations on Owner Operator’s trucks, they must be able to pass a full DOT inspection and be presentable in appearance. Wheelbase cannot exceed 280”. Vehicle gross weight (dead empty off the assembly line) cannot exceed 18,500 lbs. Fifth wheel height cannot exceed 48”.
Requirements for consideration:
	A completed Ward Truckload Express,LLC. “Owner Operator” application. A copy of their current DOT physical long form. A copy of their driver’s license, social security card & DOT physical card. Owner Operators must reside within our hiring area of the western half of New Jersey, Northern half of Maryland and no farther than 20 miles north of Interstate 80 throughout Pennsylvania.
