Ward Truckload Express Local Drivers
Ward Truckload Express local drivers pick up and deliver full truckloads of
freight using 53’ vans. Drivers will operate within a 250 mile radius of their home terminal. Drivers average between 1800 to 2200 loaded and empty miles per week servicing customers throughout Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. Work week will be primarily Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work as needed.
At times, local drivers will also switch loads with other drivers, spot trailers,
and pick up loads at a customer’s location and transport them back to a terminal for staging. Local drivers will be home daily.
Local drivers are paid weekly with Direct Deposit available.
The Wage Scale for a Local driver is as follows:

| Pallet jack unload | $15.00 |
| Hand Load/Unload | $35.00 |
| Breakdown Pay after two hours | $8.00 per hr. (Not to exceed $75.00 per day) |
| Detention Pay after two hours | $10.00 per hr. (Not to exceed $75.00 per day) |
| Deliveries to Long Island | $65.00 |
